For 6 years Karen was a volunteer telephone counsellor with Lifeline Melbourne. Karen has been employed by Wesley Mission Melbourne as a suicide intervention trainer, facilitating Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshops since 2005.
She also has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is a warm and competent trainer. Karen brings a practical perspective of understanding mental health issues to the team. The relationship between human well-being and the environment is a core area of evidence interest to the team at Evidentiary.
